Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the month-end process and coordinate general accounting activities. You will be responsible for account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting and at least 3-5 years of experience. This role offers an opportunity to drive process improvements and optimize accounting operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial role.
  • Proficient in managing accounts payables and receivables.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and VAT compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
  • Manage and reconcile prepaid and accrued expenses.
  • Support auditing activities and prepare financial statements.
