About our client

Our client is an established investment firm seeking to expand its high-calibre private equity fund and co-investment team in the Middle East by adding an experienced manager selection or co-investment professional. The team is highly collegiate and successful.

What the job involves

This role is within the private markets investment team, where you will play a key role in the private equity fund and co-investments team. The team invests across private equity funds and co-investments globally, across various geographies.

• Assist the senior team in defining investment strategies.
• Support LP and co-investments to contribute to the fund's long-term financial sustainability.
• Help manage the investment program through analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of investment portfolios.
• Maintain knowledge of potential investment managers and co-investment opportunities; provide research and analysis for investment selection.
• Write recommendations on the selection and removal of external investment managers to the CIO.
• Assist the investment operations analyst with reporting and monitoring requirements.

Who we are looking for

• Experience investing in mid/large-cap GPs based in the USA (this is a prerequisite).
• Experience leading private equity fund investing, manager selection, and/or co-investments.
• Ability to lead, manage, and develop junior team members.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Enjoy working in a growing team with an entrepreneurial, high-performance culture.
