Job summary
A leading engineering firm in the UAE seeks an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to supervise E&I works, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards. Candidates should have a diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector. The role emphasizes strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to read and interpret technical documents. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in E&I works, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX/IEC standards).
- Familiarity with PTW systems and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation works including cable pulling, termination, and testing.
- Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Allocate work to technicians and monitor daily progress.

- Read and interpret P&IDs wiring diagrams loop drawings and installation layouts.
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in E&I works preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX/IEC standards).
- Familiarity with PTW systems and safety procedures.
- Strong leadership team management and communication skills.
