Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Student Engagement Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive student experience.

The Student Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the development and coordination of student engagement initiatives that promote leadership inclusion peer support and crosscultural integration. The role emphasizes program design, student empowerment and collaboration with regional team leaders with a strong focus on creating meaningful inclusive and measurable impact in students’ nonacademic development.

Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Design
  • Develop and implement a yearlong engagement framework mapping sessions to each phase of the student journey (pre-departure onsite transition)
  • Design workshops and experiential learning content aligned with student development objectives.
  • Create toolkits and facilitation guides for mentors and student leaders.
Student Leadership & Peer Networks
  • Launch and coordinate a Student Ambassador Program including selection criteria, onboarding roles and subject matter/areas of development.
  • Support ambassadors to co-lead student events, peer check‑ins and cultural presentations.
  • Collaborate with mentors to identify emerging student leaders and provide regular coaching opportunities.
  • Track progress and impact for reporting purposes.
Workshop & Event Coordination
  • Align monthly workshops and events across countries and time zones in coordination with Team Leaders.
  • Maintain a regional activity calendar and ensure alignment with academic and mentoring cycles.
  • Review content delivery, monitor participation and assess quality and impact of sessions.
  • Track attendance and impact for reporting purposes.
Community & Cultural Integration
  • Promote community participation through volunteering, local community engagement and intercultural exchanges.
  • Encourage reflection and documentation of personal growth through event portfolios and storytelling.
Monitoring, Reporting & Impact
  • Prepare templates for capturing relevant data.
  • Track participation, student feedback and engagement KPIs using internal trackers.
  • Prepare monthly impact summaries and contribute to quarterly reports.
  • Maintain photo/video documentation and success stories for reporting and communications.
Student Incentive Program
  • Design and implement a Student Incentive Framework to drive meaningful participation including rewards and recognition schemes.
  • Implement framework and tracking system aligned with transparency and fairness.
Site Visit Planning & Coordination
  • Support regional teams in planning site visits locally and internationally.
  • Prepare templates, engagement documentation and portfolios for presentation during visits.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Community Development or related fields.
  • 2–4 years of experience in student life, extracurricular programming or youth engagement.
  • Experience designing peer‑led or co‑curricular programs with diverse student groups.
  • Passionate about student empowerment, intercultural learning and community-building.
  • Strong coordination, documentation and facilitation skills.
  • Tech‑savvy with experience using learning platforms or student engagement tools.
