Job summary
A technology solutions company is seeking a SQL Developer to join their team in Fujairah. The role involves designing and deploying SQL queries, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and improving system efficiency through developing stored procedures. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking domain. Proficiency in PL/SQL and a strong understanding of SQL fundamentals are essential. This position is full-time and requires on-site presence.

- Develop stored procedures and functions to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.

Education
We are currently looking for SQL Developer (Database Developer) for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SQL fundamentals including syntax, data types, joins, aggregations, etc.
- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries for large datasets using various indexing techniques.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking domain.
- Experience with PL/SQL programming language.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and address business requirements.
- Proven track record of developing stored procedures, functions and triggers to enhance system efficiency.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to database performance tuning, query optimization and data integrity.
- Commitment to adhering to coding standards and best practices through participation in code reviews.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Design, develop, test and deploy complex SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using PL/SQL programming language.
- Develop stored procedures, functions and triggers to automate data processing tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues related to database performance tuning, query optimization and data integrity.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
