We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Storekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the transportation industry and a strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations. - Receive inspect and store incoming materials and products
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient
- Prepare and pack orders for delivery to customers
- Coordinate with the transportation team to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized to facilitate efficient operations
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to the Store Manager
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in a similar role preferably in the transportation industry and construction
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Valid UAE drivers license is a plus
