Job summary
A regional construction company in Umm al-Quwain is seeking an experienced Carpenter. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of carpentry experience and be skilled in reading technical plans. Responsibilities include constructing and repairing various wooden fixtures, measuring, and installing items as per customer requests. This role offers a salary of 1300 AED per month.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in carpentry work.
- Proven experience as a carpenter in a similar setting.
- Ability to read technical plans & drawings accurately.
- Good physical condition & strength with the ability to lift heavy objects.
Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble or repair cabinets, doors, and frameworks.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials.
- Cut materials to size indicated by drawings.
- Assemble cut & shaped materials and fix them together.
- Install windows, doors and furniture items.

Education
We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in carpentry and be willing to work with a variety of projects. The salary for this position is 1300 AED per month. We are also open to considering an immigrant for this role.
- Construct, assemble or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, stairs and other wooden fixtures used in buildings
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil or chalk line
- Cut materials to size indicated by drawings or templates using handsaws, power saws or chisels
- Shape materials to specified measurements using planes, chisels and carves
- Assemble cut & shaped materials and fix them together with nails, screws or glue
- Check accuracy of structures assembled with spirit levels or other precision instruments
- Fill cracks and imperfections with putty or wood filler
- Install windows, doors and furniture items as requested by customers
- At least 2 years of experience in carpentry work
- Proven experience as a carpenter in a similar setting
- Ability to read technical plans & drawings accurately
- Knowledge of machinery operation & maintenance
- Ability to use power tools (e.g. saws) safely
- Good physical condition & strength with the ability to lift heavy objects
- High school diploma; woodworking certificate is a plus
