Overview

Carpenter in Musaffah, UAE

We are looking for a reliable Carpenter to join our team in Musaffah. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of wood in both residential and commercial buildings.

The ideal candidate should have excellent woodworking skills, knowledge of various tools, and an understanding of building codes and safety regulations. The successful candidate must also possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Constructing structures from a variety of materials including wood, metals, and plastics
• Measuring and cutting materials according to specifications
• Installing cabinets, counters, windowsills, doorsills, sashes, doorframes, shelves, etc.
• Assembling furniture or other objects from pre-fabricated parts
• Installing wooden fixtures in residential or commercial buildings
• Inspecting structures for compliance with safety requirements and building codes
• Repairing existing structures or installing new ones when necessary
• Completing all tasks within the scheduled timeframe while adhering to high quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or related position
• Knowledge of tools used in carpentry work
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics/technical drawings
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• High school diploma; technical certification is a plus
• We are also ready to consider candidates with no experience
• Salary will be 1500 AED per month. We are open to consider candidates with foreign citizenship as well.
