Star Services LLC is a leading EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company in the oil and gas industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Contracts Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Lead Contracts Engineer will oversee and manage all aspects of the company's contracts, from negotiation to execution. The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure contracts are drafted, negotiated, and executed efficiently, while safeguarding the company's interests.

1. Lead the contracts team in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating all contract types, including EPC, EPCM, and service contracts.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate successful negotiations.
4. Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks.
5. Monitor contract performance and ensure obligations are met by all parties.
6. Resolve contractual issues or disputes promptly.
7. Provide guidance to project teams on contractual matters.
8. Develop and update contract templates, standard clauses, and related documents.
9. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in contract management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2. At least 8 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
3. Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
4. Proven experience in negotiating and drafting complex contracts.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Leadership and team management capabilities.
8. Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
9. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
