Aortic stenosis impacts millions of people globally, yet it often remains under-diagnosed and under-treated. Edwards’ groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) pioneered an innovative, life-changing solution for patients by offering heart valve replacement without the need for open heart surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit continues to partner with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence. How you will make an impact :
  1. Manage a team of territory / account managers and / or Distributor sales managers and clinical specialists across the MENAT region to achieve financial goals in alignment with Edwards business strategy while identifying and interpreting market trends and implications, applying this knowledge to management of the team.
  2. Contribute to sales strategy definition.
  3. Define sales targets for the team.
  4. Drive related commercial activities (e.g., marketing).
  5. Hold full P&L responsibility for the assigned region.
  6. Hire, develop, and retain talent in the Edwards sales organization while leading and representing a business unit across a region of moderate strategic impact.
  7. Drive commercialization of Edwards products and services across the region of moderate size.
What you’ll need (Required) :
  1. Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  2. Extensive progressive sales experience.
  3. Demonstrated successful track record of managing a team of sales employees.
  4. Extensive medical devices industry experience.
  5. In-depth understanding of business unit strategy and business model, medical devices industry, and the competitive landscape across multiple areas, especially in the MENAT Region.
  6. Ability to identify and interpret market trends and implications, applying this knowledge to management of the team.
  7. Recognized as an expert resource based on a broad understanding of external factors (financial, regulatory, economic) and their impact on Edwards and its customers.
  8. Ability to work and excel within a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment.
  9. Experience in preparing and presenting budget proposals to Leadership Teams.
  10. Ability to lead and represent a business unit across a region of moderate strategic impact.
What else we look for (Preferred) :
  1. Experience with cardiovascular therapies.
  2. Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate management levels.
  3. Propose market entry strategies and models in countries where Edwards portfolio is not yet present.
  4. Experience interacting with senior management at regional or global levels.
  5. Experience with complex sales, including indirect sales models.
  6. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
