A leading payments technology company is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to develop eCommerce marketing strategies for the CEMEA region. Visa is seeking an experienced and passionate Marketing Manager with an exceptional ability to design marketing programs activating eCommerce as a strategic segment.
This marketer will explore and develop a deep understanding of the online shopping behavior, the most important user groups and usage occasions, and develop marketing plans to activate against them.
The goal is to activate the Visa brand and drive eCommerce transactions by influencing consumer perception and behaviors, leveraging Visa’s product, capabilities, brand advantages and partnerships. This enables one of Visa’s big bets to be a leader in the high-growth eCommerce space by providing the best experience for online payments.
As part of the CEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) Brand & Digital team, this role offers a breadth of learning and possibilities and supports global and regional consumer marketing efforts. The candidate should be willing to challenge the status quo to ensure our brand is bold, relevant, and cuts through the noise in the world of content. The ideal candidate is strategic problem solver, a team player, and idea generator with a firm understanding of the eCommerce space and how to build a beloved brand in a social-first environment.
The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, highly motivated and an inspirational marketer with the ability to mobilize resources (marketing team, agency partners, multi-functional peers, etc) as well as work with a wide array of markets at varying stages of development. The individual must have a “can do”, positive attitude, combining a solutions-orientated mind‑set with a highly collaborative approach.
This role reports to the Consumer Marketing Direction CEMEA and will be based in our Dubai office.
Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
