Tangent International is seeking a skilled Data Analyst & Modeller to join a leading client on a short-term contract with strong potential for extension. This role is pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable insights, shaping semantic models, and ensuring data accuracy across enterprise reporting systems.

As a Data Analyst & Modeller, you will assess source systems, map key datasets, and define KPIs to support enterprise reporting and governance. You will collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to design Silver/Gold layers, document data lineage, and deliver engineering-ready specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex datasets and contribute to strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

• Assess source systems, interfaces, and data structures
• Map datasets, KPIs, and reporting dependencies
• Document data lineage, dictionaries, and semantic model components
• Support Silver/Gold layer design and KPI definition with governance teams
• Deliver engineering-ready specifications and technical documentation
• Use SQL and data profiling to explore and validate datasets

• 4+ years’ experience in data analytics, product/program management, or CRM/lifecycle marketing
• Proven success in analytical, data-driven environments
• Strong SQL, data modelling, and documentation skills
• Experience with large, complex datasets (healthcare background is a plus)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with enterprise BI tools and semantic modelling frameworks
• Knowledge of data governance and KPI standardization practices
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Advanced Excel and visualization tool expertise (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
