Charterhouse are working with a leading international law firm in Dubai that is looking to hire a Banking & Finance Associate (Mid to Senior Level) to join its expanding Finance team.
The Banking & Finance Associate will work closely with highly regarded partners on a broad range of banking and finance matters, supporting a growing and dynamic practice across the UAE and wider Middle East.
The role involves advising lenders and borrowers on a wide range of general banking and finance matters, including corporate lending, real estate finance, and leveraged and acquisition finance. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating finance documentation such as facility agreements, security packages, and intercreditor arrangements.
The Associate will also support complex, often cross‑border transactions involving regional and international banks, financial institutions, sponsors, and corporates, managing transaction workstreams, coordinating with local counsel, and assisting with deal execution and closings. In addition, the role will contribute to the continued growth of the finance practice and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
The ideal candidate must have 4-7 PQE with solid experience in banking and finance from a top‑tier or well‑regarded international firm. Strong exposure to corporate lending, with additional experience in real estate finance, leveraged finance, or acquisition finance being highly advantageous.
The candidate should demonstrate excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to run matters with increasing autonomy. Commercially minded, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑calibre environment within a growing team are essential.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred, or a genuine interest in relocating to Dubai.
