We are looking for a dedicated Consultant General Surgeon to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for diagnosing a variety of conditions, performing surgical procedures, and managing the care of patients pre- and post-surgery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general surgery and a strong commitment to providing quality patient care.

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and formulate surgical treatment plans
• Execute a wide range of general surgical procedures, ensuring the highest safety standards
• Manage the overall care for patients during pre-operative and post-operative phases
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Educate patients and their families about surgical options, risks, and recovery processes
• Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques and best practices
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records as per compliance regulations

• Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent, from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery
• Board certification in General Surgery is required
• At least 5 years of clinical experience in a consultant role
• Demonstrated expertise in a broad spectrum of general surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
