Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced technician for chiller system maintenance. The role involves routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of chillers including centrifugal and screw types. Candidates should be proficient in integrated control systems and building management for optimal performance. Knowledge of water treatment and flow management is essential. Qualifications
- Proficient in routine servicing, refrigerant management, and component replacement for chillers.
- Skilled in identifying faults in compressors, evaporators, and executing repairs.
- Experienced in safe commissioning and decommissioning of chiller systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service chillers including centrifugal and screw types.
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on control panels and other components.
- Integrate chiller systems with Building Management Systems.
Skills
- Chiller System Maintenance: Proficient in routine servicing, refrigerant management, and component replacement for centrifugal, screw, and scroll chillers.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Skilled in identifying faults in compressors, evaporators, condensers, and control panels, and executing timely corrective actions.
- Startup & Shutdown Procedures: Experienced in safe and efficient commissioning and decommissioning of chiller systems.
- Control Systems & BMS Integration: Familiar with chiller control logic and integration with Building Management Systems for performance monitoring.
- Water Treatment & Flow Management: Knowledgeable in maintaining water quality and managing chilled water flow to prevent scaling and corrosion.
