Job summary
A leading design firm in Dubai seeks an experienced interior designer to develop space plans and design concepts. The role requires a strong portfolio and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in interior design within the UAE fit-out sector. Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
- Develop space plans, mood boards and design concepts based on client requirements and brand standards.
- Produce detailed interior drawings, joinery details and specifications using AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar tools.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture and fittings appropriate to the design and budget.
- Collaborate with clients, architects and project managers to finalize design directions and obtain approvals.
- Prepare 3D visualizations and presentations to communicate design ideas clearly.
- Coordinate with joinery and production teams to ensure accurate translation of designs into final products.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation and resolve on-site design issues.
- Assist in BOQ preparation, material procurement, coordination and client presentations.
- Stay up to date with interior design trends, materials and market innovations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
- 35 years of experience in interior design, preferably within the UAE fit‑out/joinery sector.
- Strong portfolio showcasing commercial, retail or residential interior design work.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V‑Ray, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, color theory, space planning and lighting design.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction details.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
