• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects
• Oversee on-site implementation of design plans ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and present design solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices and new materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in interior design with a focus on site supervision
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations particularly in Dubai
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Professional certification (e.g. NCIDQ, BIID) preferred
