Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly owner statements and payouts.
- Reconcile revenue from platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance.
Skills
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the full financial operations of our home rental company. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in accounting, VAT, revenue reconciliation, and property/holiday homes finances.
- Handle daily accounting operations and financial reporting
- Prepare monthly owner statements & payouts
- Reconcile revenue from Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, etc.
- Manage accounts receivable & payable
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateways
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure FTA compliance
- Oversee invoicing, payments, and petty cash
- Review and supervise junior accounting tasks
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis reports
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records
