Job summary
A leading labour solutions company is seeking a qualified individual to manage production and maintenance teams related to advanced water treatment processes. The role requires a BSc in Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with water treatment technologies such as reverse osmosis and ultra-filtration. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards while optimizing operations for maximum client satisfaction. Strong communication skills and project management abilities are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in managing and operating advanced water treatment plants.
- Experience with Softening, Ultra filtration, and Reverse osmosis is required.
- Understanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets.

- Manage production and maintenance teams and relevant suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality KPIs.
- Maintain effective administration and monitoring of processes.

- Management of project account (P&L) and stock control
- Monitoring and detail records and reporting on all aspects of the processes, ongoing projects
- Ensure efficient resource management of employees to ensure they can meet the performance objectives required of them
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering a professional and high-quality service
- Client feedback meetings and reporting
- Compile Monthly Plant Reports and attend client meetings
- Monitor plant health and pro-actively intervene to ensure plant availability is optimized
- Effective reporting to the operations manager of the area.
- BSc Chem Eng or B Eng (Chemical)
- 3+ years experience in managing and operating advanced water treatment plants (required)
- Softening, Ultra filtration, Reverse osmosis experience (required)
- Understanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets
- Relevant management experience
- Proven record of satisfactory prior performance
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, database, PowerPoint and e‑mail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Skills in planning, attention to detail and process troubleshooting
- Ethical and responsible behaviour
- Innovative and accountable
- Client communication, interaction and management
