Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Assistant for a flexible part-time position tailored specifically for students. In this role, you will support the digital marketing team in growing our online presence across various platforms by assisting with content creation, scheduling posts, tracking engagement, and helping maintain brand consistency. • Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.

• Help monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.

• Conduct basic research on trends, competitors, and industry best practices.

• Support content creation through captions, hashtags, and simple visual edits.

• Help analyze performance metrics and prepare basic reports on follower growth and engagement.

• Collaborate with the team to execute promotional campaigns and contests.

• Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and visual branding across all platforms.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic understanding of popular social media platforms and current trends.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.

• No prior professional experience required.

• Internship, coursework, or personal experience in social media, marketing, or communication is a plus.
