Job description

- Assist the Youth Staff Team in planning and organizing daily activities, games, and events for children and teenagersonboard the cruise ship

- Engage with children and teenagers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all young guests, regardless of age, gender, or cultural background

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of youth programs and activities

- Maintain a clean and organized youth area, including toys, games, and equipment

- Monitor and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Youth Staff Manager

- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's participation in youth activities

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as attendance records and inventory management

- Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings as required by the company

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting

- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
