This role involves owning both the front-end user experience and the back-end technical functionality of the website and landing pages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the company website and landing pages.
  • Take ownership of front‑end UI/UX and back‑end functionality.
  • Perform regular website updates, content uploads, and technical fixes.
  • Identify and resolve functionality issues promptly.
  • Apply best UI/UX practices to improve user engagement and site navigation (Figma or similar design tools preferred).
  • Ensure site security, performance, and reliability.
  • Optimise the website for SEO and overall user experience.
  • Integrate third‑party tools such as CRMs, payment gateways, and automation platforms.
  • Experience with tools like Bubble.io, Zoho Deluge, or Zapier is advantageous.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and report on digital strategies, including A/B testing for performance insights.
  • Stay current with web development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Support digital marketing efforts with the creation of landing pages and microsites.
Requirements
  • Matric plus a Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
  • 24 years of proven web development experience, preferably within an E-Commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards.
