Qualifications

• Demonstrated warehouse and supply experience in a coal mining environment.
• Experience with the Pulse Mining Systems ERP is desirable.
• An Australian Manual Driver's Licence is required.
• A Medium Rigid licence is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work unsupervised is crucial.
• Willingness to work additional shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• Providing stock control for the warehouse facilities.
• Issuing goods to store customers via direct issue and picking slips.
• Expediting stock orders.
• Management of repairable stock items.
• Maintaining stock storage locations.
• Performing purchasing officer duties as required.
• Coordinating transport and logistics.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.

Job description

Maxwell Underground Mine owned by Malabar Resources Ltd has commenced operations at their Hunter Valley site with planned production of up to 8 million tonnes of per annum. With approvals in place out to 2046 the mine targets high quality coal with the majority being metallurgical coal.

Malabar Resources is an independent Australian-based resources company located in the Upper Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

In addition to the Maxwell Underground Mine we own the Maxwell Solar Farm based on rehabilitated land on the Maxwell Infrastructure site Maxwell Infrastructure the Spur Hill Underground Project and agricultural properties including the Merton Vineyard.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To support the growth of our operations we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Supply Officer to join our Supply Team. Reporting to the Supply Superintendent the Warehouse Supply Officer will work night shift to assist in managing the warehousing and supply function across the Maxwell Underground Mine and the related infrastructure.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

If successful your key objectives will include but not limited to:

• Providingstockcontrol forthewarehousefacilities
• Issuinggoods tostorecustomers via direct issue and picking slips
• Expediting stock orders
• Management of repairable stock items
• Maintainingstockstorage locations
• Purchasingofficerduties as required
• Coordination of transport and logistics
• Loadingandunloadingdelivery vehicles asrequired including the use of forklift/telehandler
• Housekeepingin thewarehouse and yard areas

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstratedwarehouseandsupplyexperienceinacoalminingenvironment.
• ExperiencewiththePulseMining SystemsERP(desirable but not essential).
• An AustralianManual DriversLicence.
• A Medium Rigid (MR) licence is desirable but not essential.
• Haveastrong attentiontodetail.
• Abilitytoworkunsupervised.
• Willingnesstoworkadditional shiftsif required.
