We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee all warehousing, procurement, shipping, and logistics functions to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Job Purpose
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for organising, managing and coordinating all warehousing, procurement and shipping operations and procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness, customer satisfaction and overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
Minimum education (essential)
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a similar field
Minimum applicable experience (years)
Required nature of experience
- Warehouse and Logistics management
- Managing inventory systems, procurement and shipping
- Inbound and outbound logistics planning and operations
Skills and Knowledge (essential)
- ERP and warehouse systems
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management best practices
- Solid knowledge of domestic and international logistics and transport planning
- Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Working knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles
- Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements in a warehouse environment
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for process optimisation
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation abilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management
- Oversee and manage all warehousing operations including receiving, assembly, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock reporting.
- Manage stock levels, perform cycle and full stock counts.
- Eliminate obsolete stock and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
Procurement and Inventory Planning
- Plan and manage procurement processes (local and imports).Ensure inventory availability while minimizing working capital.
- Develop and maintain inventory naming and numbering conventions.
Logistics and Transportation Management
- Manage transportation and shipping, both domestic and international.
- Negotiate and manage transporter and supplier contracts.
- Ensure cost‑effective and timely delivery schedules.
Compliance, Safety, and Operational Efficiency
- Maintain safety standards in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and reduce damage and shrinkage.
- Monitor and implement operational procedures and policies.
Team Leadership and Performance Management
- Manage warehouse team and logistics staff.
- Provide leadership, training and ensure team development.
- Conduct performance management and ensure accountability.
