Position Overview

Woolpert Africa is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as full‑time Trainee Geospatial Editors based in our Cape Town office on a 6‑month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. We are committed to developing young talent by providing hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge geospatial technologies in a supportive and growth‑oriented environment.

Location

This is an in‑office position located at 9 Silverwood Close, Suite 1, Silvermine House, Steenberg Office Park, Tokai, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit ortho photos using Adobe Photoshop.
• Perform basic geospatial digital map interpretation and editing, including daily processing of geospatial data.
• Evaluate data for accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with applicable project and industry aerial mapping standards.
• Assist senior technicians with various duties, maintenance, and other related tasks.
• Follow all Quality Management Procedures as outlined.
• Manage individual deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate (having Geography as a subject is advantageous).
• Must not use cannabis or any illicit substances (drug screening will be conducted).
• No prior experience needed; full training will be provided.
