TLC Head Office has an opportunity for a Junior Merchandiser Planner to accurately execute and maintain The Local Choice merchandising standards by ensuring the merchandising standards are in accordance with TLC Pharmacy policies and procedures.

Essential
  • Grade 12 - Matric
  • Minimum 0 - 6 months retail work

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Merchandising Planning:
    • Assist in the execution of the corporate planogram plan for TLC while addressing store stock levels, space gains and ease of execution for resetting the stores.
    • Ensure front shop shelves and products are neatly presented and visible at all times.
    • Ensure labels and pricing must be correct at all times.
    • Identify and report all price discrepancies to management.
    • Ensure merchandising displays are built, faced up, stocked and maintained according to The Local Choice procedures.
    • Identify merchandising space planning business challenges and report to the Senior Planner.
    • Ensure items without barcodes are clearly marked.
    • Handle all merchandise carefully to prevent any losses.
  • Customer Liaison:
    • Provide friendly, helpful and courteous assistance and advice to The Local Choice Franchisee.
    • Assist with the training of new and current team members.
    • Partner with internal teams such as operations, marketing for all projects when required.
  • General:
    • Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
