Job summary

A consulting firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Sales Representative to manage sales orders, compile quotations, and achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate should have a National Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, along with 2-3 years of sales experience in the Engineering/Manufacturing industry. Knowledge of Syspro will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience as a Sales representative in the Engineering/Manufacturing Industry.
• 5 years' experience working with Pumps.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships and identifying new opportunities with new customers.

Assist with the forecast for Company products.

Attending all conferences and exhibitions as required and arranging seminars as needed.

Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• National Diploma/Degree in Sales / Marketing/ Engineering (a must)
• Knowledge of Syspro (will be an added advantage)
• 2-3 Year experience as a Sales representative in the Engineering/Manufacturing Industry
• 5 years’ experience working with Pumps
• Strategic prospecting skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license
