Overview

A well-established organisation with a long history in the manufacture, marketing, and distribution of animal feed additives and disinfectant products is seeking a Technical Sales Advisor.

The company provides advanced solutions that support the feed, livestock, and food industries across Africa and Asia. Its culture is built on innovation, quality, and sustainability, with a strong focus on research, development, and customer value.

Product: Technological animal feed additives. Detergent and disinfectant products for the feed and livestock industries.

Market: Animal feed mills and associated industry. Livestock operations including dairy farms, poultry and pigs. Abattoirs and rendering plants.

Salary: R45 000 – R50 000 CTC per month.

Requirements
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license (essential)
  • Must be possession of a valid passport and credit card
  • Grade 12 plus relevant 3 Year Degree or Diploma (BCom / BSc Agric preferable)
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience within a Technical Sales environment
  • Prepared to travel more than 5,000 km and spend 6+ nights away each month

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong technical and conceptual knowledge of all products
  • Analyse customer needs, recommend suitable products, provide advice, and address customer concerns
  • Discuss products and explain technical concepts and uses effectively
  • Prepare customer reports and proposals related to product solutions
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to establish loyalty
  • Identify new opportunities and grow the customer base
  • Track sales and submit monthly sales reports to management
  • Research current market trends, identify new product developments, and provide feedback to management
