Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant Medical Technology qualification or certification, along with current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) with registration on Histology. You bring at least five years of hands‑on experience as a Medical Technologist, Medical Technician, or Medical Laboratory Scientist within a pathology laboratory. Your background reflects a solid foundation in laboratory operations, and you are ready to step into a role where your expertise will shape both people and processes.

Advanced understanding of pathology test procedures, instrumentation, and methodologies is required. You possess theoretical knowledge matched by practical insight into HPCSA, SANAS, and occupational health regulations.
