What you bring
  • International direct taxation experience in a multinational corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of global corporate tax rules, tax treaties, and EU Directives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams.
  • Analytical skillset to interpret complex data sets and provide insights.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Startup or fintech experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee global direct tax compliance and ensure timely filing of corporate income tax, withholding tax, and other direct tax returns.
  • Partner with external tax advisors to support filings and reporting obligations in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Identify, monitor, and address potential tax risks and propose actionable solutions.
  • Assist in managing audits and inspections, liaising with tax authorities to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide strategic tax guidance on cross‑border transactions, corporate structuring, and tax‑efficient planning aligned with business objectives.
  • Keep up‑to‑date with changes in global tax laws and proactively adapt processes and strategies.
  • Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals, supporting their development and day‑to‑day execution.
  • Work closely with finance, legal, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless tax compliance and reporting.
