Our client in the private education sector is recruiting a proactive and dynamic Student Advisor to join their student recruitment team. This role is ideal for someone confident in presenting at schools, driven by performance targets, and passionate about helping students take the next step in their academic journey.

Based in Newlands, Cape Town

  • 3 Year Diploma or Degree in PR, Business, Marketing or Communication
  • Own car and a valid driver’s license are essential
  • 2+ years’ sales or student recruitment experience is an advantage
  • Target-driven, highly organised and people-focused
Key Responsibilities Include:

Presentation & School Engagement

  • Deliver compelling presentations at targeted schools and expos
  • Distribute marketing materials and generate student interest
  • Represent the institution at stakeholder events
  • Meet monthly school presentation and database collection targets

Interviews & Consultations

  • Make proactive calls and schedule student interviews
  • Conduct interviews using scripts, engaging with students and parents
  • Respond to online applications and queries timeously
  • Achieve weekly, monthly and annual interview targets

Applications & Conversions

  • Guide students through the application process during interviews
  • Follow up on payments and missing documentation
  • Drive conversions through calling campaigns and follow-ups
  • Meet application and pre-registration fee payment targets

Registrations & Admin

  • Support the team to meet annual registration targets
  • Ensure interview forms and applications are complete and accurate
  • Maintain daily reports and update CRM systems as required
Requirements:
  • 3-year Diploma or Degree in PR, Business, Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales (ideally in education/student recruitment)
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, target-driven and customer-focused
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
