Store Supervisor

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will coordinate and manage all administrative procedures and systems, ensuring a strong internal control environment through the consistent implementation of policies, procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Self-Audit process. What you will love doing in this role Drive operational efficiency by planning and executing accurate financial stock takes, ensuring showroom processes (inventory, receiving, and frontline) comply with legal regulations, aligning merchandise to the product catalogue, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. Manage showroom productivity across all areas to drive sales and develop timely action plans to address deficiencies. Maintain optimal stock levels through efficient stock control processes, overseeing accurate stock takes and counts. Implement strict cash management procedures, including reconciliation, deposit control, investigation of shrinkage or counterfeit issues, and minimizing cash exposure to reduce risk. Provide training, coaching, and guidance to staff on internal controls and store risk awareness to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance. Deliver timely and accurate reporting on the internal control framework, highlighting and addressing deficiencies. Assist in leading sales activations in surrounding areas to attract new customers, drive foot traffic, and boost revenue. Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant store environment. Oversee stock management duties to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure smooth store operations. Monitor catalogue stock levels, ensuring inventory is accurate and aligned with the latest product offerings. Manage goods returns efficiently while keeping store processes and documentation up to date.

Requirements

What youll need to do this role Grade 12/Matric/NQF 4 - Minimum (Required) Min 10 years experience in Compliance and Admin Management Clear criminal and ITC record Must have Must not be currently debarred or declared not fit and proper in terms of the FAIS Act Must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Working in the homewares retail industry would be advantageous
