Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with hands‑on experience in stock control and warehousing? We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join the Warehouse team as a Storeman. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, security, and efficiency of our stock operations.

The Role: The Storeman will be responsible for assisting with and managing all inventory control‑related activities, with a focus on day‑to‑day physical management of stock within the Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities (Including But Not Limited To)
  • Maintaining physical control and organization of inventory within assigned areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and security.
  • Accurately counting and recording stock received and dispatched according to procedures.
  • Performing regular cycle counts and participating in full stock takes and reconciliations.
  • Keeping stock items always organized and readily accessible for efficient retrieval.
  • Inspecting items in stock for defects or damage and reporting findings promptly to the manager.
  • Conducting investigations into stock discrepancies and reporting findings to the manager.
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records of inventory and stock management.
  • Tracking inventory movements, creating reports, and reconciling inter‑branch/warehouse transfers.
  • Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Performing other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Experience, And Skills
  • Grade 12/Matric certificate.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Previous experience of at least 1–3 years in a Storeman, Stock Controller, or similar hands‑on warehousing position.
  • 1–3 years of previous cycle count experience.
  • Computer literacy (1–3 years of experience).
  • Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices such as cycle counting and ABC analysis.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written).
  • A related degree (preference will be given to degree‑holding individuals).
  • Experience with SAP (1–3 years an advantage).
