This is a client-facing sales role for consultants with proven experience selling luxury South African safari travel directly to clients.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Design and sell bespoke luxury safari itineraries within South Africa, tailored to international clients.
- Convert warm inbound leads into confirmed, high-value bookings using a consultative sales approach.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with clients via email, phone, and Zoom, acting as a trusted safari advisor.
- Manage the full booking lifecycle, including accommodation, flights, transfers, and special requests, ensuring a seamless luxury experience.
- Work closely with senior consultants and sales managers while owning your individual sales portfolio, targets, and performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience selling luxury South African safari travel directly to clients.
- Strong knowledge of South African safari destinations, wildlife, and safari experiences.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a luxury travel environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple bookings, and a self-driven, independent work style.
- Experience using CRMs and travel reservation systems is advantageous.
