Job Description
- Develop and execute creative social media strategies to increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Create high-quality, eye-catching, and on-brand content (graphics, photos, videos, captions, and stories).
- Plan, schedule, and manage content calendars across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Write compelling captions and copy that align with brand voice.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Analyse social media performance metrics and provide insights to improve content strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, recruitment, etc.) to align social media with business goals.
- Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic and tone across all channels.
Qualifications
- Marketing degree or diploma
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation (portfolio or examples required).
- Strong creative skills with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.).
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Passionate about social media, with knowledge of current trends and platform best practices.
- Highly organised with the ability to plan ahead, manage deadlines, and work on multiple projects at once.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret social media insights and adapt strategies.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
