SUMMARY

SITE MANAGER - VANDERBILJPARK, GAUTENG

POSITION INFORMATION

• Grade 12.
• Valid driver’s license / own vehicle.
• Relevant qualification in Project management / Engineering.
• Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
• +7 years’ experience as a site manager. Preferably within the yellow equipment industry/ heavy equipment. Project management experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive a safety culture within the site and ensuring that all site-specific safety requirements are met.
• Ensure a safe execution of task and lead project to Zero LTI & Injuries.
• Ensure maximum uptime on equipment and setting uptime target for shifts.
• All site equipment must be in operating condition.
• Develop a maintenance plan for all equipment and lead the maintenance team during execution of the plan.
• Establish communication channels with site team and project stakeholders.
• Report to project manager weekly on project performance, bottlenecks and achievement.
• Develop a project execution strategy and project structure that will drive project excellence.
• Drive a housekeeping culture and develop a housekeeping plan with site team.
• All processed material must be within customer specifications.
• Complete all employee timesheets and send to HR on/before required date.
• Manage all project suppliers.
• Ensure that all jobs are done on time, issue purchase orders and liaise with finance for timely payments.
• Assist finance with requesting invoices and statement from suppliers.
• Control all project costs and regulate project spending.
