Overview

An Internal Vacancy exists for a Site Manager in the Guarding Division based in JHB North.

The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

Responsibilities

• Security advice to clients
• Quality Assurance Audit
• Threat and Risk assessments
• Experienced client liaison and professional client relationship
• Project Management
• Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints
• Ensure that the contractual requirements are met all the time
• Maintaining the ISO 9001 quality system
• Ensuring that all companies / Clients SOPs are followed
• Incident and Investigation Management
• Ensure compliance to the company’s disciplinary code
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practices, covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems integrity confidentiality
• Manage the smooth day-to-day running of the relevant site to ensure profitability
• Effective organization, supervision and staff management
• Client retention and maintaining customer service levels
• Training and development
• Audits and assessments
• Maintenance and safeguarding of company and client assets

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• PSIRA certification – Grade A
• Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position for at least 5 years
• Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis and counter measures
• Knowledge of tools and systems which provide access security control
• Must have confidence in dealing with public
• Bilingual (English and any other South African language)
• First aid and firefighting will be advantageous
• Excellent written & verbal communication
• Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office
• The ability to communicate and present to all levels and work under pressure
• Must be willing to undergo a polygraph test
• Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
