Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shop Assistant Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and merchandise properly to ensure product availability for customers.
• Follow merchandising planograms to create well-merchandised displays.
• Organize new inventory, remove and break down empty boxes.
• Follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team environment.

Education and Experience:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing role within retail/FMCG store operations is desirable.
• Equivalent knowledge through a combination of education and experience.
