Qualifications

Job description

SUMMARY :

Multistage Centrifugal Pump Division at the Commercial Department.

POSITION INFO :

Primary Duties

• Underground and surface product support including troubleshooting and fitment of new or repaired components.
• Underground and surface support including pump commissioning, end-user training and product condition monitoring.
• The identification of repair work / business in the form of complete pump overhauls as well as sub- assemblies during your technical interventions with the products and end-users.
• Develop strong relationships with end-users, specifically Mine Shaft Foremen and Fitters.
• Service exchange delivery and fitment which may include breakdowns.
• Accurate completion of job cards and reports.
• Completion of monthly expenditure reports.

Secondary duties

• Deliveries and collections of components from and to clients.
• Expedite the completion of job cards, delivery notes and invoices.
• Assist in any of the organisation’s workshops or assemblies as required and where trained to do so.

Qualifications & Skills

• Artisan Qualification or Diploma or Degree - Fitter and Turner or a Millwright
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role or department
• Valid Driver’s Licence Must be healthy and able to pass medical examinations required to be considered fit to enter a mine and go underground
• Computer Literacy with strong excel and word skills
• Good people communication skills
• High level technical skills
