Role Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Senior Social Ads Video Editor to enhance our creative capabilities and lead the charge in producing engaging video content that drives engagement and viral moments for a client of ours with millions of followers across their social media channels. They have been recognized in Fortune’s 40 Under 40 and Adweek as a leading influencer and voice on social media.

This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who has a wealth of experience in video editing, as well as a strategic mindset for developing and scaling impactful creative concepts on platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the visual storytelling of our clients' brands through high-converting campaigns.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead creative strategy: Oversee the development and execution of video content that resonates with target audiences, focusing on user-generated content (UGC) and highly engaging social media content to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Content curation: Evaluate raw UGC, influencer videos, and social media footage to select the most engaging clips and moments to highlight in videos.
  • Creative briefs development: Construct and manage creative briefs that guide the production of high-impact video and complementary static content.
  • Trends and innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, conduct research, and identify successful creative strategies to inspire the creation of scalable social campaigns.
  • Performance optimization: Analyze performance data from previous campaigns to refine and evolve content for enhanced effectiveness across all platforms.
  • Framework application: Utilize and modify existing templates to ensure efficient video production while maintaining high standards of creativity and originality.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the client and the broader creative team to ensure alignment with brand strategy and consistent messaging in all visual content.
  • Market awareness: Monitor the latest trends in social media, particularly in the financial advice, influencer, and other sectors, to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • 5+ years of experience in video and creative production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a successful track record of producing engaging video and UGC content for social media that drives engagement.
  • Extensive portfolio showcasing experience in delivering high-quality video content, including examples of successful creator-led content and the ability to work with captions and visual storytelling.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere), along with experience using Figma, Capcut, and project management tools like Asana or Basecamp.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Meta, TikTok, and Instagram, with a data-driven approach to content and content performance optimization.
  • Experience in crafting videos for influencers with hundreds of thousands to millions of followers, with case studies to show your work and a portfolio to match.
  • Passionate about keeping up to date on the newest trends, editing styles, fonts, and audio – and know how they differ by each social channel.
