Job summary

A global engineering consultancy seeks an experienced engineer in Johannesburg, South Africa, specializing in producing infrastructure models and drawings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Aveva E3D and be accustomed to working in multi-disciplinary environments. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to health and safety policies while delivering quality detail drawings on demanding project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing infrastructure models and drawings following engineering practices.
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental HSE policies.
• Experience with Aveva E3D for steelwork modelling.

• Produce infrastructure models and drawings in accordance with accepted Engineering practice and draughting procedures.
• Work safely, complying with HSE policies and considering the welfare of others.
• Produce quality detail drawings aligned with project schedules.

Job description

• Produce infrastructure models and drawings in accordance with accepted Engineering practice and Wood draughting procedures.
• To work in a safe manner, complying with and actively contributing to Health, Safety and Environmental HSE policies, manuals and procedures. At all times considering the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, visitors, clients, community and the environment.
• Be experienced in the use of Aveva E3D for steelwork modelling and drawings
• Be accustomed to working within a multi-disciplinary environment
• Be able to produce quality detail drawings in accordance with draughting standards, aligned with a demanding project schedule
