Responsibilities
- Actively calling targeted businesses with the ultimate aim of signing fabulous merchants
- Creating excellent pitches, presentations and proposals and negotiating to ensure a mutually beneficial deal for Wowcher, the merchant and our growing customer base
- Providing clients with relevant information; especially in response to enquiries about products and services
- Continually establishing client relationships and building a strong rapport to enable you to deliver excellent customer service and further develop our Clients outstanding reputation
- Meeting weekly KPIs and monthly sales targets
- Lead the execution of sales activities to source and grow merchant partnerships
Qualifications
- 5 years+ of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
- Extensive cold calling experience
- Business Development for more than 5 years (B2B)
- Selling to an International Market, preferably the UK
- Longevity in prior roles (5+ years at one or two companies) and not a job hopper
- Experience in telesales for NEW BUSINESS
- Mature professional with a track record of long tenure in sales
- Sales tertiary qualification (Advantage)
- Strong references and a KPI/target achievement track record
- Excellent English communication (fluency described as "like an actor in a Shakespeare Play")
- Willingness to relocate or operate internationally, with an offshore client base

Based in Century City near Tyger Miln Cape Town. The role involves building relationships with UK-based merchants and serving consumers through a UK-focused deals platform.
