We’re looking for a highly capable, senior-level Operations & Executive Assistant to step into a full-time, embedded role within a production-based, order-led business.

This is not a traditional assistant role. It’s for someone who understands how things are made, priced, ordered, tracked, and delivered — and who can confidently take ownership of day-to-day operations while proactively improving systems and workflows across the business.

You’ll work closely the founder as a trusted right-hand support, with real influence over how the business runs.

The Role

You’ll be expected to hit the ground running, quickly learn existing workflows, and bring structure, clarity, and efficiency to a fast-moving, bespoke environment. This role requires intelligence, initiative, confidence, and a strong operational mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing all day-to-day administrative and operational activities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for client communication
  • Supporting production workflows, order tracking, and delivery timelines
  • Assisting with product costing, pricing structures, and customisation details
  • Managing order fulfilment from confirmation through to final delivery
  • Maintaining, improving, and building efficient systems and workflows
  • Reviewing existing processes and proactively recommending improvements
  • Working closely with the founder as a trusted, long-term right-hand support
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a decorative lighting, interiors, design, manufacturing, or production-based industry
  • Ability to step into a role quickly and operate with minimal hand-holding
  • Strong background in operations, administration, or business support
  • Clear interest and capability in systems, process improvement, and operational optimisation
  • Highly intelligent, confident, and able to learn complex business processes quickly
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and spreadsheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Naturally proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working independently in a bespoke, fast-moving
