Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm in South Africa is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to enhance its operations. The ideal candidate will have a National Senior Certificate and a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical fields, coupled with at least 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure asset maintenance. Key responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with legislative regulations, and providing technical support. Strong competencies in report writing and decision making are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant infrastructure asset maintenance operational experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the asset.
• Ensure and execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Provide input into the development of maintenance planning programme and execution thereof.
• Utilisation of enterprise asset management system.
• Ensure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment / infrastructure.
• Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
• Manage Service Level Agreement (maintenance and supply).
• Provide Input into allocated budget.
• Compile and submit relevant reports.
• Provide relevant and specialised technical support in area of expertise.
