Design Engineer for Product Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team in the Product Development department.

As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing innovative and effective solutions for our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3 D CAD models and designs for clients
• Prepare manufacturing and supplier part drawings
• Conduct concept and design reviews
• Manage and support day-to-day design activities
• Provide creative and technically feasible solutions for cost savings, service issues, and product improvements
• Interface with materials and purchasing on new part design and sourcing
• Interface with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering to determine effective use of materials and manufacturing processes
• Interface with Product Regulation and Compliance staff to design products meeting government regulations, restrictions, and codes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in design engineering
• Ability to plan and execute project plans
• Ability to guide and mentor other engineers
