Overview

Redhill School, a leading independent, co-educational school in Johannesburg, is seeking to appoint a Senior Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team in January 2026.

We are looking for an exceptional educator with a passion for Mathematics and a commitment to fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics at the Senior School level and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at Redhill.

Key Requirements

• A relevant teaching qualification and a degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Registration with SACE.
• Experience in teaching the IB Diploma Programme Mathematics is highly advantageous.
• Alternatively, a willingness and enthusiasm to work closely with our current IB Mathematics teacher and learn to teach IB as the programme expands.
• A proven track record of excellence in teaching Mathematics at the FET phase (Grades 10–12).
• Strong subject knowledge and an ability to inspire students to excel.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to innovative, student-centred learning.
