Senior Marketing Automation Specialist, RSA

Join Flight Centre as a Senior Marketing Automation Specialist where you'll design, implement, and optimize marketing automation campaigns across email, SMS, and app push.

You’ll be based in the South Africa HQ and work within our global marketing team.

Primary Accountabilities & Objectives
  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing automation strategies across email, SMS, and app push.
  • Build automated workflows, lead‑nurture journeys and segmentation programs that elevate customer engagement.
  • Implement lead scoring and personalization tactics to improve conversion and retention.
  • Act as Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert, ensuring smooth operations of all automation tools.
  • Manage data integrity through list maintenance, segmentation, and cleansing.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with global data regulations (GDPR, CAN‑SPAM).
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests to optimize messaging, content, CTAs and user journeys.
  • Analyze campaign performance, identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Martech, engineering, and data teams to ensure seamless integrations and platform enhancements.
  • Produce regular reports on campaign performance, KPIs, and ROI.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations that influence marketing strategy.
  • Present findings to stakeholders and leadership to drive informed, data‑driven decisions.
What You Bring Experience & Technical Skills
  • 3+ years experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and customer journey design.
  • Ability to interpret data, analyze trends and transform insights into strategy.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across global teams and with external partners.
