Job summary

Qualifications

• 7 years of building and maintaining mission critical Java systems inside corporate or medium sized business.
• 5 years of production experience of building / updating and fixing web services (Restful).
• 3 years experience on building / running microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to design backend architecture.
• Select and implement programming languages frameworks and databases.
• Ensure backend components are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop and integrate APIs and other backend components.

Skills

Extensive Java 8 / 11 or higher experience

Building and maintaining mission critical systems

Experience of building and maintaining Restful services

Developing and maintaining mission critical systems in the Cloud

Building / running distributed architecture

Solid proficiency in Jakarta / JEE Standards

Quarkus or Spring Framework Experience

Relational Databases (Oracle, Postgres)

Angular Experience

Education

Computer Science degree or similar relevant formal qualification
