Duties & Responsibilities

• Review financial statements

• Vast stakeholder engagement
• Management of a small team within the business of 6‑8 heads

Skills & Experience

• Previous / current insurance industry experience
• Pastel & Advanced Excel are very beneficial
• Resiliency – a person who possesses a strong work ethic and is adept at working with a timeline and leading by example
• Responsible for the day‑to‑day financial operations of some of the more complex clients
• Includes managing the financial budget, forecasting, financial reporting, analysis and strategic support
• Responsible for creating and managing financial models and providing financial guidance and support to the management team
• Excellent knowledge of financial management and budgeting
• Advanced Google Sheets skills and experience in financial modeling
• Skilled in financial reporting and analysis
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualification

CA (SA) qualification essential with 5 years experience in a financial management role.
