Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma in a relevant engineering field and at least 5–7 years of technical facilities management experience, preferably in retail and multi-tenanted environments. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance management, compliance with health and safety standards, and project oversight. Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in a technical facilities management role.
  • Experience with Retail, Industrial, Multi-tenanted Office Parks, and Student Accommodation.
  • Proficient in MS Office and MDA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.
  • Manage diesel procurement and generator maintenance contracts.
  • Conduct monthly technical inspections for audits.
  • Oversee Helpdesk ticket management and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Manage statutory certifications and inspections.
  • Monitor solar PV yields and implement energy-saving initiatives.
